Talkuza for Mac

Feature

Rewrite

Rewrite takes messy dictated text and returns it clean. Dictate rough — half sentences, false starts, filler words — and get polished text back without retyping a word. Pair it with Tone when you also want a different voice.

Included in the one Talkuza plan — $2.99/month after a 7-day free trial. See pricing · All how-to guides

How to use it, step by step

  1. Dictate it roughHold Fn and say it however it comes out — messy, out of order, with “um” and restarts. Rough is the input; polished is the job.
  2. Select the text to rewriteSelect the dictated text — in the pile or in your app — and choose Rewrite.
  3. Read the polished versionTalkuza returns the same meaning, cleaned up: grammar fixed, filler gone, sentences in order.
  4. Use it where it belongsThe rewritten text replaces the rough version. Send it, paste it, or hand it to Tone for a different voice.

Tips that actually help

  • Dictate first, rewrite second: don't slow down to sound polished while speaking — that's Rewrite's job.
  • Rewrite keeps your meaning; if you want a different voice too, send the result through Tone.
  • Long rambling dictations rewrite best in chunks — one idea at a time, not a five-minute monologue.
  • Use Rewrite on text you typed, too — paste anything rough in and get the clean version back.
