How to use it, step by step
- Open WordbookOpen Talkuza Settings (⌘,) and go to Wordbook. Your saved words live here.
- Add the word as it should appearType the word or phrase exactly as you want it spelled — a person's name, a company name, a technical term, an unusual spelling.
- Dictate it once to checkHold Fn and say the word in a sentence. It should land exactly as you taught it.
- Add words as they go wrongEvery time a dictation lands a name or term wrong, add it to Wordbook instead of fixing it again next time. The list grows with you.
Tips that actually help
- Start with the five names you dictate most — colleagues, clients, family. Those are the ones that hurt when they're wrong.
- Add product and company names with their exact capitalisation — Talkuza will match it.
- Hinglish words and phrases go in Wordbook too — teach the spelling once, stop correcting it forever.
- Review Wordbook every few weeks and delete anything you no longer use.
